Julian Zelizer: I think there's a real chance that these difficult times could produce incredibly disciplined virtuous statesmen who can capture the imagination and hearts of not just people that wholly agree with them. He says we are in a why you know, we're in a Weimar type of cultural environment here and if it's not dealt with in a way that acknowledges a holy creator, then there's only one way out and it's through massive, massive bloodshed.
