I didn't really realize the gravity of what was happening until the till the end. The biggest lesson that I learned at 19 is just what it means to put your name on something. And I think that's kind of how I got myself into trouble in the first place. Like I signed up to write a book that I hadn't even thought of the title of or the characters and names or the plot, which isn't something I would do as an adult.
