The Evolution of Work
Work as we know it started to emerge once you had economies where people got paid to do things that had nothing to do with subsistence. Some of the earliest writing that we have is in 5,000 year old cuneiform tablets from the city of Yoruk which is in Mesopotamia. So we've been paying people for work for a really long time and my archaeology nerd brain gets very excited about this idea.
