Is Temperament Influencing Philosophy?
Irenic dislike of conflict makes me prefer views that sort of settle the water. Isn't there a danger that philosophy just turns into telling yourself in a sophisticated way what you already believed to be true? Some temperaments are right or closer to being right than others, I wouldn't say that to someone directly necessarily in discussing their philosophical views. And I don't see yet a reason to fear that.
