The last 45 minutes or so of the film, when it becomes much more sort of McCarthy tinged, is the much less interesting element to me and one that I have seen before. The story was ambivalent. This is the reason why he kind of dedicated himself to not full nuclear disarmament, but trying to prevent an arms rate. He was certainly not the, he was not the most kind of peacenic compared to some like leo salard. There was his opposition to the hydrogen bomb up to a point. But even then when the solution was, he'd said was too tech, became too technically sweet to sort of block anyone.
