Every deal I ever did with them was an offer of a pay cut. Like every single contract was a fight and then it ended badly. It's very different in sport because sport inherits so much emotion, emotional giving and taking. If you don't give a shit about the club, you are putting so much emotional hurt into it. You might be off 1% or 2%. But if the connection is not quite right, it's not quite right. And then you just don’t give a shit just as a little,. but it can actually cost something or nothing in it. That's the worst thing. It bugs you deep down. Because you've paid in.
