My Story of a Trauma

My mother, understandably, still doesn't like talking about any of this as it was a very traumatic experience. It's only with hindsight that I've realized how genuinely creepy and horrific the whole situation was. This took place 20 years ago when I was 12 years old. Almost all of the details were kept from me at the time due to my age so I didn't find out until much later what actually took place. At that age, nobody I knew had ever died, so it was quite difficult to process what had happened.
