DNA Was the Key to Linking This Individual to the Crime Scene
DNA was the key of linking this individual to the crime scene, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was the key to identifying him. We expect to find more when we get the affidavit in support of the arrest warrant when he is returned to Idaho. As for the apartment and the cleaning crew, it's also entirely possible that as the cleaning crew was going to work this morning, they already had this arrest in place.
