The Evil of Manasseh, King of Judah
Manasseh was 12 years old when he began to reign and he reigned 55 years in Jerusalem. He built altars for Baal and made an ashra as Ahab, king of Israel,. worshipped all the host of heaven and served them. The Lord said by his servants the prophets, because Manasseh has committed these abominations ... I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
