Is There an Addiction?

The harmful use of alcohol alone results in three point three million deaths each year. 23 million people over the age of 12 suffer from some sort of addiction, either alcohol or drug related. Despite the fact that less than half of the global population drinks alcohol there are still three point 3 million deaths a year.
