I think another interesting thing that I associate with these headcount numbers is it's pre-COVID silicon valley culture where people really don't talk about revenue and metrics. If you hire senior people they by definition need less management like they're more experienced to get the work done week over week. The pool of of senior engineers in LA is going to be way smaller than somewhere like the barrier so we could either move back to the barrier or we can say hey let's build remote. We're pretty strongly in favor of keeping the time zones on the west coast plus three minus three which there are not much except hawaii would qualify for us.
