Is France Just a More Conservative Country?

Is france just a right wing outlier among western european countries? Is this a conservative country we feel comfortable saying? I mean, the french themselves have callind this phrase, dratisation, which is the ritification of french politics. And when you say macron wis a senterit politician, you're applying, you'll not apply the standards of united states politics to day. But i think it's also worth saying that all things are relative.
