The Lower Uterine Segment in Obstetrics
The lower uterine segment doesn't exist in gynecology. It's the cervix at the top that gets effaced and then pulled upwards to become the lower uterus. If you have an obstructed labor, the idea is that the super hypercontractal fundus becomes hypertrophic. And so you get this where all bandiles meet, right?
