How to Have a Hard Conversation With a Family

I know a lot of folks out there who work in ICUs would probably really appreciate having an idea from you about some tools some best practices that you think clinicians in general can use when talking to patients and families. I'm happy to sort of jump into specific tools and we can talk about those but I think just to highlight a few things that I think of are particularly important when you're thinking about going into a room to have a hard conversation with a family.
