The Analogia Entis, Bart's Rejection of the Covenant of Works
Bart was also a tonic against rome's analogia entis, what he perceived as the antichrist. The idea that man can somehow climb up the ladder towards god by virtue of his own works is to bart repugnant. Bart saw mediaeval catholicism, federal theology and eighteenth century liberalism as all sharing the same cloth. They're all in the same family because they approach god the same way. E very different than what we're used to saying as orthodox theologians.
