i'm not qualified to give you the history of slavery, but we can sure talk about some of the really interesting aspects of it. And maybe it's just me, and maybe i lack the imagination, but i'm having a hard time seeing really plausible counter factuls this situation. You know, other alternative things that might have taken place as opposed to this nightmarish outcome. That might sound harsh to some people, but one could make the case that that still applies to day. We're still addicted to bondage. The terms may be a little different, though, anda the benefits more spread out.
