Organic photovolteics are better than the state of silicon in two thousand and fivew when sola was really starting to take off. It's only because it can't compete with the current advanced silicon potovoltaic head to headu but we're just starting to see mass production now, like companies producing commercial scale organic solar panels. Silicon may be provsky in five to ten years, and that will boot strap the organic solar cell industry by filling these other applications.
