El sir is a spanish movie from 1983 by the same director victor erisei. It's telling the story of her childhood and how her father who seems to have kind of secrets in his past that she can't fully penetrate but there's something about him that makes him more special than others. The south of the title is where her father is from this place that she's never been because of a political disagreement with his father in the sp Spanish civil war years he's left it.
