The State Created Danger Doctrine
The Constitution protects you only from state actors. Facebook cannot violate your First Amendment rights because Facebook and Twitter are private companies. Private citizens can commit torts, you know, they can assault you. But there's a an exception that many jurisdictions have outlined which is called the state created danger doctrine.
