The Importance of Being Achieved

When I was growing up, one of my cousins got married at 14. My auntie looked at me and she said, it's best that she got married aged 14 because after that, a girl looks start to fade. What are these Rishta aunties looking for? They want a woman who is tall, but not too tall. Slim, but not skinny. You know, if she's professionally accomplished, that's even better. Think about it like accomplishments from Jane Austen's time. No woman can be really esteemed, accomplished, who does not also possess a certain something in her hair. That's why so many Pakistani women who graduate as doctors don't ever work as doctors
