The Hidden Emotion Model for Anxiety

Anxiety works to indirectly express this hidden feeling that we're having. In recovering from a so-called anxiety disorder it's not getting over an illness but learning to become more of a human being and learning more about what a truly human experience is like. The root fear in most anxiety is really the fear of the self, the fear of who you are as a human being. It doesn't come out of the blue mysteriously without rhyme or reason according to Freud. But always related to a human experience that's triggering the anxiety.
