How to Combat Tipping in the Service Industry
I think a complaint that I hear a lot is like, it's not my job to pay these people's wages. And they're like, we shouldn't have to tip anyway, tipping stupid. No one should feel bad about how they make their living. This industry has been around for over 150 years. We are all each other's brothers and sisters, keepers. It's super problematic as is capitalism, as is all systemic things, right? Like labor is exploitive in nature. But at the same time, let's continue making sure people can like live.
