Is Myspace a Social Network?

Myspace was trying to be a social network and they didn't understand that people were going to use it as their lifetime photo repository. All the customization aspects of Myspace were very much a double edged sword. One of the big perks to Facebook is you could be a complete idiot and your Facebook page would still make you look like a reasonably intelligent human being. Whereas with Myspace, it was very easy to make it obvious to everybody. You didn't know what the crap you were doing.
