The Importance of Humanizing Poor People

I started thinking about that in light of all I'm learning at Homeboy and thinking, I should write something down. And the more, then the deeper I got into the writing the book, I kind of took it from the point of view of me being sort of an average guy working in the corporate world. It's like many people have said, look, there's two Americas, the America, the privilege of America, the demonized and the poor. So what I want to do is shine in light. Like a lot of what we do here is Shine in light on the goodness of people.
