The Change in Pronunciation of Budika's Name
We've decided to try and pronounce budika's name more like she mit have pronounced it. The way that we write it now, buddica is much closer to tacitus. It might not sound like it, but b and v, you know, kind of swapped places a lot through time. And so sometimes is, and this is true of early english versions. I think, around the tenth or eleventh century, we have an account where she's voda or boda - there are even more.
