I love how there is a collision here happening between this gritty hip, I guess to some extent, music scene, lower Manhattan, and the literary fiction quality of your work. It's got a grit to it that maybe the Lebowski narrative doesn't have. You have these sort of burnouts in a crime narrative. For lack of a better way of putting it, except that this scene and the people that you're describing have a harder edge. This is filthier. Filthy is the word that I would describe. Now it would be a sonic youth sticker on a Cadillac, or on a Cadillac. I can't help but laugh too. I think of the Elon Musk stuff
