The Catechism Is for the Faithful
The catechism was published the next year after Pope Benedict's confirmation. The pope got flak from some German bishops who said, why would you use a catechism? No one's going to buy it. But he wrote back saying this is for the faithful. And I still find when I read it, it actually helps my prayer. It's just such a beautifully put together document.
