Zeus strung up Hera by chains, weighing her down with an omelette. She wailed for days with no one daring to defy Zeus. Hephaestus knew that this was his destiny. This was why he had been born. He issued a challenge to the bemused Zeus and charged. And then Zeus, yes, palmed his face and flung him once again from Olympus.
