The Trap That I Was Laying for Him
Most traditionalists say that in a finite period of time, jesus can suffer the equivalent of an eternity of suffering. So by using this arg to say that Jesus bore an infinite duration of suffering,. it makes his death arbitrary. It makes it an afterthought to the atoning work. And i think that's borderline heresy, if not outright heresy.
