"Enkanto" is a great example of how to tell stories that aren't just, as we mentioned already, bad guy does a thing. "I would not be surprised if it came off as super annoying to a lot of people," says director Michael Hirst. It's this kind of subversive, different approach to the crisis where the crisis is actually empathy for the antagonist moment.
