Logos - A Metaphysical Extension of Words

Heraclitus says the truth is contained both in words and works. He translates logos in a totally unmetaphysical way, it's an account, a report. But as far as we know, this metaphysical extension of logos simply doesn't exist in Heraclitus's time. It's the invention of later ages. That was clear with the everyone else's logos falls short of wisdom.
