Walker's appeal is an attempt to prize that apart and create a political sphere that is divested of the vagaries of natural history, hereditarian science, et cetera. He understands that since we are all children of god, that means we are, as a fact, something that we cannot change. We are part of the same human family. Any any sort of practices that tries to either disregard that, to annihilate that, has erected this ideological discourse that black people are not a part of the human family.
