The Rise of Anger in the Opposition

The level of vitriol and anger, the willingness to utter threats towards politicians is definitely an increase in my view. It seems to be more of an echo of the phenomena that we're seeing in other political markets too. The media who cover politics historically would have been able to help manage that process. But I feel that the media have lost the ability to have that influence for fear of angering the people who are part of this kind of electorate.
