The Clinical Response to a Psychiatric Crisis

One thing I often see that's missing is a clinician's clinical response to that situation. For example, I had a session once where an adolescent client came into session and after kind of feeling out what was going on,. He ultimately divulged during the session that he was intending to go and score some drugs after the session. So those were his reported symptoms, but there was also what I did to clinically manage that situation.
