The Racial Dimension of Colonial History
i was really taken by a tweet that you quote satanam in the book which says if british people understood colonial history half as well as they understand the details of henry the eight's wise it's written with the a different country. i remember burn and manning appearing on the bbc saying there were no pakis at dunkerk then they were indians but they were our bloodied dunkerk so we've forgotten this stuff. empire became fasty boring the past a matter for montipartan jokes this stuff is packed off and put into storage or sent off to the provinces or just taken off view that's the idea.
