The SDC's Prometheum Scam
This week in SDC is about the bogus broker dealer that Gary Gensler put out as the shining example of how to be compliant with securities laws. Senator Tommy Tuberville, Republican from Alabama, and several members of Congress wrote a letter to the SDC this week urging them to investigate Prometheum. And Representative Richard Torres, who's a Democrat from New York, went a step beyond that. He wrote letters to the Inspector General of the United States of America as well as the Controller General of theUnited States of America. The whole thing is a very strange scam.
