Sally Kohn: Why can't a sister help her sister, your best friend, give your sister some of your eggs or have a baby for her? That doesn't whisk away the health complications. One woman in one of my films, she was the surrogate for her gay brother and his partner. She wasn't paid because she was helping her brother. There's quite a few stories in there of women who were surrogates for friends or family members. It's just a broken relationship. Part of it is just human nature and the jealousy.
