Rents Are Continuing to Grow
London is dragging that average down. Other areas are doing really well by the Midlands and the Northeast both by 0.8% this month. And another story from property reporter says over half of landlords are looking to raise rents to lessen the impact of interest rate hikes. But most people's mortgage rates haven't gone up yet, so I can see that pressure on rents continuing for the next year or more purely because of that factor.
