The Power of Gates on Vocals
I've never found the tape emulators to do anything much that I like. It's something like everyone acts crazy, the tambourine sound. The guy who's been on my last show at Andrew Sallow is great mixer. He mixed the Nick stuff and does big thief and stuff. Do you use gates on your vocal to make them funk harder? Yeah. A lot of like just chop the audio out when you don't need it.
