I was brought up with the sound of a sort of bombs how interesting. But my, my father was a of a strange character. God, i miss him terribly. He volunteered to fight in the spanish civil war,. thogh, jumped out of the train and changed his mind. And he used to go ton india and australia and america and and south africa. There's a great line in kipling about provincial people in britain were ar you know, they knew nothing about the outside world. Which actually is, i think, still true to this day.
