The Story of Modern Iraq

Iraq could have well just easily fallen into Iraq. If it was not for the intervention of the imperialist who decided to sort of draw up this region to it. So Saddam decided one day he was going to be an anti colonial crusader and then Kuwait and we all know how that worked out. But putting that aside, I think maybe because even though we have to tell these stories through him in a sense, I also don't like this business of like fixating on him.
