SSH D Won't Tell You Unless It's in Verbose Mode
SSH is not the first thing you think of when setting up a new system. It's trying to figure that out every single time, and it won't tell you unless you put it in verbose mode. We have this issue at work with WSL because quite often users will discover that WSL is a thing after they've used Windows Terminal. And then if you just point WSL at that directory, it doesn't understand what metadata and file permissions are under Linux.
