Linguistics is a subfield of linguistics called pragmatics that i teach about. So there's like a very orderly way about analyzing this thing that doesn't necessarily seem really rule governed to us. Just as people who are walking around speaking, you don't think about all the things that you have to know in your mind,. To be able to use your first or second language but also socially rite.
