You Know I'm Skeptical of the Idea That We've Had a Pristine Earth 500 Years Ago
Life 500 years ago was far less pleasant than it is today for the vast majority of people alive. The ability to walk around in a street where you have sewage and you don't have dirt everywhere we have modern sanitation is something that even the poor people can enjoy. I'm skeptical of the idea that everything was good and then it went very bad but I'm also going to challenge you a little bit on this on the sort of counter narrative that you provide which goes back hundreds of millions of years.
