Lucy Parsons and the Haymarket Bombing
Before the haymarket incident, albert parsons had been traveling and speaking extensively. The idea that she had her children with her was a key part of albert's defense during his conspiracy trial. All eight men were found guilty, and all but one of them were sentenced to death. Lucy did a lot of work to raise money for a clemency campaign after the bombing. She also edited and published a book called the famous ches of the eight chicago anarchists.
