When you feel a crushing sense of disappointment, ask yourself what expectation was behind this feeling. What was the underlying expectation? You can question it because we've talked about that a little bit. But so in the case of a marriage, what was the expectation? And is it reasonable given what I know about this person? In the case of selling paintings, what wasThe expectation? Is that reasonable? Or has it gone in the past in a different way? Has it have paintings sold over a period of a few months? And if that's the case, am I on track? Yes. So you can just recognise, because sometimes you were very aware of your expectation but sometimes we're not
