But not a lot of people around the world know about him, certainly not as much as they know about someone like Ibn Adabi or Ibn Fadeh. Abu al-Hassan Ashushdadi is one of the most significant and most renowned mystical poets in the Arabic language. His poems and songs are still sung in Sufi gatherings across North Africa.
