The Spirit of Humility Is the Spirit of the Gospel
According to scripture, the way is that we repent of our sins. Trust in what he has done for us. There doesn't seem to be much wiggle room in what jesus has given us. And so i tend to be convinced by those who are willing to accept what seems quite obvious when we actually listen to jesus. That spirit of humility is the only spirit in which the gospel can be received.
