Siam

Siam is a computer system that allows the operator of a cellular provider to remotely monitor and alter given individual's cell phone connection. This isn't spy software as such, but more it can take control of people's mobile phones. Siam does not allow the Iranian government to say, listen in on a phone call or read the contents of text messages. But for instance, you could pull a list of everyone who was at a protest. You can get a complete list of all the phones that were connected to certain cell towers.
