The Ethics of AI

I think in all kinds of practical ethics, it has to be very empirically grounded. That is one challenge. I'm quite concerned about how at the moment anyone can write any kind of algorithm, let it loose into the world without any kind of supervision or regulation. We have seen time and again that we don't have very good imagination to try to figure out what can the implications be of these very powerful systems that we have never encountered before.
